i am a late-teens student posting from an undisclosed location.

“burton” is not my name. rather, it is the name branded on the front of my paper journal (presumably after the snowboard company) where many of my accounts are drafted before being published.

this journal is an account of my personal experiences, biased opinions, and philosophical musings. the idea is to keep it secret from those close to me; instead i write this for me, to be seen only by strangers across the web at their discretion.

i use capital letters only when necessary, which i believe is never.

i’m still getting used to this whole weblogging thing; i hope any readers will bear with me in the early going.
